We do not rush people into writing reviews. When they do, we share them here, unedited, because they say something about what the experience of working with khwanjaa Legal is actually like.

Siriporn Rattanachai
Bangkok · Mediation client
I came with my partner not knowing whether we wanted to work things out or not. The session gave us a structure we couldn't create on our own — someone holding the space so both of us could speak without it becoming an argument. The written note they sent afterwards was something we both read again separately that evening. It helped.

Thomas Hoffmann
Vienna / Bangkok · Cohabitation agreement
My partner is Thai, I am Austrian, and we wanted something written down about how we handle our shared apartment and finances. khwanjaa drafted an agreement that actually sounds like us — not a template with blanks filled in. The back-and-forth on drafts took a bit of time, but that was partly us being thorough. No complaints about the process at all.

Nattaya Wongkham
Chiang Mai / Bangkok · Estate pre-planning
My husband and I had been putting this off for years — the idea of talking through what happens to everything felt heavy. Natnaree made it feel manageable. She spoke with each of us separately first, which meant by the time we sat down together to look at the plan, it already reflected what both of us actually thought. The annual review reminder came exactly when they said it would.

Singapore / Bangkok · Cohabitation agreement
We'd looked at standard template agreements online but they didn't fit our situation at all — different nationalities, property in two countries, one of us self-employed. khwanjaa listened to the specifics and produced something that addressed our actual life. The fee was clear from the start. Straightforward experience.

Bangkok · Mediation client
I was quite uncertain coming in. My partner had suggested mediation and I wasn't sure what to expect. The preparation beforehand — agreeing the agenda by email — was actually very useful because it meant we both knew the session wasn't going to veer into territory neither of us was ready for. I left feeling like I'd been heard, which I hadn't been expecting.

Marie-Claire Fontaine
France / Bangkok · Estate pre-planning
We are a mixed-nationality family with assets in Thailand and France, and we needed someone who understood both that our legal situation was complicated and that we didn't need it to feel complicated. Thomas Wiesner was exactly the right person. He explained the Thai side clearly, was honest about where his jurisdiction ended, and the plan he helped us build felt genuinely ours.

Case Studies
Three families, three different situations.
Mediation · Bangkok couple · February 2025
The situation
A couple in their late thirties had reached a point where communication had broken down. They were considering separation but had not made any decision. One partner wanted to try a structured conversation first; the other was uncertain but willing.
How we helped
A single mediation session, prefaced by an agreed written agenda covering four areas both partners had identified in advance. The session ran for two hours. A written note was sent to both within 48 hours.
What followed
The couple requested a second session three weeks later, focusing on a specific financial matter. They did not pursue separation. Both described the process as having given them something to refer to — a shared written record of where they actually stood.
"We had been going in circles for months. Having an agenda — knowing in advance what we were going to talk about — was the thing that made it feel manageable." — Mediation client, Bangkok
Cohabitation Agreement · International couple · January 2025
The situation
A Thai-British couple living together in Bangkok, unmarried, with a jointly rented apartment, shared savings account, and a small investment property held in the Thai partner's name. They wanted clarity about how finances would work if circumstances changed.
How we helped
An initial conversation with both partners together, followed by a first draft sent within ten days. Two rounds of revision — one addressing the British partner's questions about Thai property law, one about the savings account arrangements. Final agreement signed in week four.
What followed
Both partners described the process of having the agreement in place as having reduced a background anxiety they hadn't fully articulated before. The agreement covered the investment property arrangement, the shared account, and a clear provision for the rental situation.
"It wasn't about not trusting each other. It was about having something written down that we'd both actually agreed to. That feels different from just assuming." — Cohabitation agreement client
Estate Pre-planning · Three-generation family · December 2024 – February 2025
The situation
A family of three generations — grandparents in their seventies, a daughter and her husband, and two adult grandchildren — with land, a family business, and a Bangkok apartment among the relevant assets. Nobody had spoken about long-term arrangements before.
How we helped
Separate conversations with each family group over six weeks, a written asset inventory confirmed by the grandparents, and a coordinated plan that distinguished between assets the grandparents wanted to retain full control of during their lifetime and those they were comfortable discussing for the future. First annual review scheduled for December 2025.
What followed
The grandparents described the process as having given them a sense of having addressed something important without it feeling confrontational. The family's adult children said the conversations had clarified things they had wondered about for years but hadn't known how to raise.
"We thought it would be a difficult series of meetings. It wasn't. Natnaree spoke with each of us separately first, so by the time we sat down together, everyone already knew what was in the room." — Estate pre-planning client, Bangkok
